My daughter was born with one (not a premie) on her back. It was small, and disappeared on it's own over time. Yours sounds different since there are two and one is growing. Back then, the doctor just said it was no big deal, not unusual, and would most likely disappear over time.
Some of these though are really big, so each situation is different. I guess we were fortunate and it was never a big deal. Best of luck. --- On Fri, 2/10/12, Jane MacRoss <[email protected]> wrote: From: Jane MacRoss <[email protected]> Subject: CS>Strawberry Birthmark Query To: [email protected] Date: Friday, February 10, 2012, 2:52 AM Strawberry birthmark - on a premature baby now 8 months old - this phenomenon is apparently more likely on premmies, although it resembles a bowel protrusion, it is a birthmark, there is another one adjacent which is also growing, but which is internal. Does anyone know of natural treatment for this? The Medical Profession offers Propanolol - for an 8 month old child!
