I don't think anything can actually 'heal' a cavity because the damage has already been done. However, if you have gum disease and cavities in progress, plaque etc. CS is helpful, but what REALLY works well is an occasional 5 minute dose of micro-electricity. This has had amazing results for people with abscesses, loose teeth, bleeding gums etc.

Some put it down straight some just mix it in with their water...I really don't think food or no food is a problem... some of our cats like it either way & a couple want nothing to do with it...
