I've had severe muscle spasms for decades. Then last year noticed that just eating some good high-potassium fruit.. or citrus fruit would set them off almost immediately. (My husband eats a lot of fruit now because he isn't allowed 'good' stuff on his diet)
Turns out that Magnesium (not the oxide version) totally controls the muscle spasms AND restless legs AND constipation. :))))))) being someone who 'forgets' to take pills etc. I often notice restless legs returning... and recall that the magnesium hasn't been swallowed. And if I just think I can deal with the restless legs, the muscle spasms get my attention real quick! Especially when opposing muscles are involved. :(((( AnitaW who enjoys her citrus...
