Hi, I can't speak directly to your question but I myself would not ever inject any oil or fat directly into my blood stream. These substances - including most notably in recent times olive oil - are employed as "adjuvants" in attempting to pre-sensitize the immune system to react to vaccines and thus goad the system into responding more quickly to lesser fractions of the vaccinating material. One idea was to use a small part of a viral protein coat, since the whole virus itself would not be introduced into the person being vaccinated they should be safe from getting the disease; the "adjuvant" was supposed to provoke the immune system to react to that little piece of the virus.
Unfortunately in the experiments trying this system out some of the subjects' immune systems flipped into auto-immune mode, attacking the subject's own body. An auto-immune disease is not something you recover from, you're stuck with Lupus, multiple sclerosis, or whatever from then on. For a disturbing read and a multitude of very good references check out: Vaccine.A a book by Gary Matsumoto.
