Lena -- can you be more specific about the *trouble*? I'm looking at an implant to replace the last molar on my lower left side. The tooth has been giving me trouble for almost two years. I've had it checked out, and they don't know why it's bothering me -- but it is. I've used a laser on it, a godzilla on it, and bio-magnets. I knock down the pain/swelling for awhile -- but it always comes back. I feel certain that it just needs to come out -- but it's the last molar on that lower left, and if I don't get the implant, I'll have no chewing surface on that side of my mouth. I'll not have a root canal -- which is the only other option offered by my dentists. MA

That's why I finally opted for a gap, even though I know it stresses my over-all bite and eating symmetry.
