I read an article some years back that said there wasn't the high incidence
of heart/arterial problems until we started homogenizing milk (around the
turn of the century).  Couldn't find that article but here's one.  You
could probably google it and find many more articles.

All I know is that my mom-in-law lived to be 96 yrs old and had nothing but
raw milk/butter from her own guernsey cows until she was almost 80 yrs
old.  Her sons said mom was getting to old to be messing with cows and they
sold them.  She never had any heart problems or cancer.... just an
underactive thyroid and low blood pressure.
