It would be better to take vitamin C along with bioflavonoids, which include
quercetin. In nature, there's no such thing as plain ascorbic acid vitamin
C. The FDA defined vitamin C as such, but the entire COMPLEX works much
better. I have been giving quercetin and other bioflavonoids to my allergic
dog and it's really helped him. I also gave just two capsules to a human
friend, whose sneezing noticeably improved in 10 minutes. I get my quercetin
complex from Allergy research.

Another great supplement is Allerplex from Standard Process. You'll have to
get it through a health professional.
