How low do you go? My generators are current limited to 0.5mA. I have noticed 2 others in my travels that limit to 1mA or lower. But definitely not the norm.
BTW, most commercial water distillers will deionise the water before distilling. Deionising does not remove anything other than free ions, so compounds volatile organics etc. may remain.
