Colloidal silver by definition is the negatively charged colloids. EIS
is a combination of both. Most EIS is about 80-90% ions. Technically
it is not really colloidal silver, it is primarily ionic silver. I am
not sure what they mean by most so called colloidal silver. I know of
only one manufacturer that produces real colloidal silver, which is 90%+
colloid and it is very expensive.
Perhaps they are talking about MSP, mild silver protein. This stuff has
lots of silver, and it is in the form of a colloid, because it is
combined with protein in something like gelatin. But it is very
inactive, taking as much as 50 times as much for the same effect as
homemade EIS.
If they are talking about EIS. then it is as given above in the 80 to
90% range, with 10 to 20% colloid. It seems that both have effects, and
that a combination of the two is best.

Hi All,
I'm Gidon, a newcomer to the silver world.
I read this statement in a manufacturer site:
"Good colloidal silver contains less than 5% positively charged silver ions
and the rest are negatively charged colloids. This is a hard to get outcome
and most of the so called "colloidal silver" products contains a much larger
percentage of positive silver ions and less than 10% colloids"
Can anybody explain this to me and perhaps comment on the value of such
silver compound?

Gidon
