You can look up the MSDS on the product. I have a similar de-icer of Magesium Chloride, I think it is called MAG or something like that, from the dead sea in Israel. I use that for Mag Chloride baths.
Personally, I wouldn't have any problem with the Nigari, as I don't believe that there will be any radioactive particles in it.
