Welcome! Sorry things have been so quiet. The summer tends to get that
way here, and discussion has been sparing.

Just to be clear, is it actually some person's home made CS, or is that
a brand name?

Also, by "ppl" do you mean "ppm" or parts per million? If not, then
what?

Do you have any information as to how this silver product is made? What
does it look like? Color? Clarity?

The reason I'm asking is that it gets tricky to make anything much over
20ppm with electrolysis in pure water, so if they claim higher potency
I'd expect there to be some added ingredients or that it's made by a
different process... which in either case raises questions that we won't
really be able to answer, since it would be different than what we
recommend and use ourselves here.

If it's a silver nitrate solution, for instance, it will be caustic and
somewhat toxic due to the nitrate content, and not the best to take
internally.

The only thing I can think of to justify this claim is if you nuke the
intestinal flora it can interfere with absorption of some nutrients,
notably calcium. The intestinal bacteria are actually essential for the
proper absorption of some minerals.

Typically it takes a very high intake to kill all of the gut flora. I
don't personally know how it effects a dog, however. Perhaps some of our
members with such experience will comment.

Since the liver is there to process toxins, that may be. I'm not an
authority on that, however.

So it sounds like the silver was knocking back whatever infection was
causing the elevated white blood cell count? Is there any indication
what sort of infection you're dealing with? Symptoms?

Or does it seem to be something directly amiss with the immune system?

That's the kind of product we're more familiar with, in addition to our
own home-made preparations made by low-voltage direct current processes.

I hope that helps. Let us know more about your product and the dog's
symptoms and we may be able to be more helpful.

Be well,
