We have a deep, deep well (state tested to be pure/clean) that we get our
water from.   My unscientific method is to draw water, store it in gallon
plastic jugs and if nothing has 'grown' in it after a few months, it's
good.  Now ... for years and years of storage???  don't know.  We do keep
10 - 12 gallons set aside in case power lines go down for a few days and
have never had any problems using that stored water.   For really long term
storage, adding some cs or iodine would probably be prudent.  Lola H.
