Hi
DR Richard Becker said if you want to get D3 from the sun, the sun angle
must be greater than 45 degrees, remove all sun block, wait to shower until
several hours after sunbath as it takes several hours for your body to
absorb the oily/greasy D3.. So if you slather on sun block sunbathe and then
shower before leaving the pool you not only block D3 but wash off any D3
left. When I head south for some sun I limit sun exposure to two hours, no sun
block, shower several hours later. My D3 level just checked by the VA is
53. DR Becker said you must have your D3 level checked by a blood test and
shoot for a reading of 50 to 70. 450 mg in a pill per day needs to be tested
to see if it brings your D3 level into the right range. In my case that is
not enough. Each person is different and a blood test is the only true
measure of how much D3 you need to take to achieve the 50 to 70 range.. If I
start to burn I spray with my EIS to stop any burn in its tracks A dip in the
hot tub tells me if I start to burn. Most sunbathers I see use sun block
and shower off any D3 before leaving the pool. No wonder their D3 level is
low. My skin DR told me to take a pill instead of laying in the sun, I asked
him how can the vitamin people put the sun in a pill?
Brickey
so does one believe that all d3 is from the sun, than one has to think how
can one get the sun in a pill
