Distilled water isn't healthy to drink unless you add minerals back into it. PT

We don’t have much space either and put it away between uses which is a bit of a pain. Related question: is there any reason NOT to use RO (reverse osmosis) water to feed the distiller? We understand it may not be the healthiest to drink long-term, but it seems that it would be a simple way to come up with cleaner distilled water on the first pass as well as limited scale build-up in the distiller.
