Yes. If you shine a red laser pointer through it you'll see a red line through the solution caused by the tiny silver particles reflecting. If particles are larger you may see a slight yellow tinge.
We can taste it even when we can't see it (without laser). Kind of like the taste, except when holding it in my mouth for longer. In that latter case, it's neither terrible nor great. Enjoy your own!
