Seems to me honey contains botulinum, which is why it can't be fed to infants. I suspect cs would kill those and destroy the hive by wiping out its honey-making digestive process.
Sam I read a report somewhere, can't remember where, but do remember that whoever did it ended up destroying a couple of hives worth of bees). Please investigate thoroughly before using CS on bees. Something about destroying the beneficial bacteria which the bees need to survive.
