Yes, Kenneth. CS tis wonderful stuff. My daughter isn't always on the same page with me when it comes to alternatives but she showed up on a visit last winter with terrible, red, hot, swollen fingers on one hand. Long story, short, she got bit when breaking upa dog fight between her dogs the day before. She had used Neosporin on it but noimprovement...just getting worse. I suggested CS, got out the spray bottle, soaked a gauze pad and started to put it on herhand, she backed off, protectively cradling her hand. lol.. I had to spray the cs in my eyesright on the spot to prove to her that it wouldn't burn or sting. Then she let me dress herfingers and I sent her home with the cs and gauze pads, telling her to keep everything soakedand change gauzes twice per day. She called the next evening, telling me that most of the redness, swelling and heat were goneand the fingers didn't hurt anymore. It all healed up within a few days. She is a believer now. I think we cs users forget just how wonderful cs is for this sort of thing and almost take it forgranted. Thank goodness we live in a time and in a country where we can have somethinglike this available. Awesome idea too! I did just that this morning after getting a nasty paper (type) cut on my thumb while at work. It didn't hurt for hours but after I got home it started to hurt. I took my bandaid off and noticed the redness starting to set in. Taking a new bandaid and soaking a sterile pad with CS, I put them together over the injury. I will be better in no time. I had heard that also. I have also seen silver impregnated bandaids for sale but they 'ain't' cheap. We can soak a 4 x4 gauze pad in cs and get the same effectfor much cheaper.
