The nurse in me says, you should use both. If there are red streaks, that could 
be infection that could move u your leg and become systemic very quickly. I use 
silver and believe it's works, but sometimes you need all hands on deck. This 
sounds like one of those times. And take ALL of the pills!  It's when you quit 
them that super bugs are created.
