I have heard from many sources that lauryl and laureth sulfates are very
hazardous. True or not? I am more willing to believe it is true than
dismiss it, as there are so many pervasively used harmful chemicals in
nearly every packaged food or mass distributed product. Look at MSG.
It kills brain cells. It can be found in nearly all packaged food. It
has numerous names, and actually has no requirement by the FDA to be
named on the label. Look at soybean oil. It is in every baked food you
can buy. Canola oil is toxic, and is advertized as a health product.
You cannot buy a baby formula without soybean oil and other harmful
ingredients, yet it is impossible to buy in the US a baby formula with
the essential fatty acids added. So brain development is not complete
with formula fed babies. I know outside of the US there are some brands
available. In the US baby formula has that seeweed product which
inflames the intestines. Where are all the consumer awareness programs
that we used to watch as a nation with great interest during the
'70's??? I know they were popular. Is not the greatest thing about
the internet is that the big money interests cannot prevent the
dissemination of information which could damage their bottom line?

Sodium and ammonium lauryl/laureth sulfate are thickening agents which
make the liquid soaps appear to have greater volume than they actually
have. All they do is play a mind trip on the consumer to make it appear
that they are getting more soap than they actually are.
