Also, neutralizing your stomach acid with baking soda a few minutes before drinking CS seems to greatly enhance effectiveness. Silver Chloride will still kill germs but not as well as the ion and Silver Chloride is not very soluble in water either. I would expect that absorption would be limited. While the straight Ag ion will have a pretty short half life in the blood stream, it isn't instantaneous and it will still be a lot better than so much less limited reactive silver. 'What' the ions react with as a preference just may be the desired reaction.
