I was told the same thing. Notice it says reduction not removal. Also they supposidly contain manganese and aluminum. The only way to know how well they work, is you test your water for fluoride before using the filters and then test again after using the filters. Dr’s Data out of Chicago area does water testing, for a fee of course.
