Hi MA, Deborah and Smitty, That was the problem! The beam is good and strong now. What a relief!
Even the old machine is half way to having a good beam. Yes, I do seed each new batch. Not sure about a warranty but no need now. No, on the TDF, I use the good Walgreens NICE! water and always had good success with it. I would have though if all else had failed. I’d done the toothbrush test last night from the CS to 3% Hydrogen Peroxide and had zero reaction, so knew it was making some CS. I would have replaced the laser batteries by tonight but those are fine after wiping the silver plate off the inside of the gallon glass jar (with a spigot). Always something new to learn, just when you think you know it all. I’m so thankful to have this list! I appreciate the advice!!
