the only advantage i could see to pesto is the garlic for the allicin.
and the taste of the garlic, of course.

It took me about three days to use one batch of water and cliantro, and
it lasted that long. I don't see any health advantage to making pesto.
The oriental doctor who orginally discovered that she had more mercury
in her urine after eating cilantro was eating it cooked.
