I would have it checked by a pulmonalogist. I have a serious lung disease and I have developed an asthma like reaction. I have narrowed it down to an allergic reaction. But these lung problems take a great deal of looking at to locate the problems. I have used drugs and herbals in my treatment regiments. Both have their place. But infections can also start some serious reactions. So it takes some serious considerations to find out exactly what is going on. By that I don't mean to depend totally on the medical profession. I have been that route and my advice is to learn as much as you can about these diseases and then use common sense in looking at what they tell you. I have learned that finding good doctors can take time. If you write me, I may be able to help you in locating your problems somewhat. I have had to do this many times with myself and others.
