As for sunlight that is another "OLD WIVES TALE." To de bunk that I set a 2 liter cola bottle half full of CS out on the south back porch and for over three weeks sat in direct sunlight. Guess what NO CHANGE. I would not use the plastic bottles that the DW comes in as it will turn your CS a light yellow after several months. Causing trouble again!
