Bob,
I think you broke the code. The Mother lode uses a HV arc from a silver
wedge about 3/16ths of an inch above the water. The instructions say that
if a cone of water comes up to the wedge it should be raised until the CS
has enough conductivity to not jump to the cone. The process is completed
using the arc for the entire time. At the end of the process, approx. two
hours for a gallon, The water is crystal clear with no sediment of any kind
on the bottom of the jug. There is a very light tyndall effect using a
laser pointer. The product is stored in a plastic distilled water
container on the kitchen counter. I let one stay there for two months and
the ph never changed, nor did the tds reading. The color remained crystal
clear and the tyndall effect was always present and constant in intensity
when compared with a new batch.
I wonder if the ionic effect of the arc is giving an apparent ph change?
