Measure what exactly? The rise in ppm per hr?

One needs a silver selective electrode (ISE) and meter or a
spectrophotometer, neither of which are cheap or particularly easy to
use.

I can suggest a method which may work quite well, if you settle on a
'recipe' and stick to it. That means using the same water, current,
electrode length and separation etc.
If you were to purchase a conductivity meter (0 - 99uS in 0.1 steps) and
use this to read the conductivity of your CS at, say, 15 minute
intervals (electrodes withdrawn) and draw a graph, and then take samples
at the end of your run and have them tested for silver content at an
appropriate lab, you will then have a fairly accurate reference of ppm
per uS (for your recipe).
It would be best to stop 2 or 3 runs at different times, so that you
have a range of different end concentrations to have tested.

Hope this helps.
Ivan.
