Dear Silver-List Group Members:

I was wondering---does it matter if the silver wire touches the bottom
and/or sides of the container, while it's brewing? I candy-cane it over the
side to keep it steady, and then the bottom of the wire touches the bottom of
the container, as I can't suspend it without having it rest against
something. If this counter-productive to making good solution and if I am
not getting an effective batch of stuff, how do I suspend the wires in the
water? If it's not a problem, fine, but someone had mentioned the wires
shouldn't be touching on sides or bottom, as this causes a "plating" effect.
OK, but then, how do I suspend the wires--my wires aren't little strands, but
flat and a little heavy....

Lynn
