 I think it has to do with a lot of chicken wire and cable (insulated?)
 and spreading it out to other posts or perhaps in a more compact
 arrangement going around and around a grounding post of some sort. With
 battery cables attached to the cables to charge the battery. A more
 electronic type person could say this better than I.

Diane: I read on another list awhile back that a lot of bare wire strung out 
in an open field can be statically charged by the wind then periodically 
discharged like a capacitor to produce electrical power. I was wondering if 
anyone has first hand experience with such a setup? Roger
