Hi list, I have noticed when I make CS (LVDC method, pure DW, no additives), the conductivity of the end product drops during the first day. I measure the conductivity with the Hanna PWT immediately after completing and stirring a batch, then the next day. Here are some readings to illustrate this. They are after - next day, in microSeimens: 23.8 - 16.0, 19.2 - 10.5, 22.6 - 16.2, 10.0 - 7.8.
What is going on during the first day to cause the drop in measured "strength"? --Steve
