Hi Ole Bob,
Me too but I was waiting for someone who had seen the schematic to comment
before opening my mouth. And he may have had such a high impedance
coupling to the mains that it wouldn't let enough current through to kill
someone. Of course it doesn't take much current under the right
circumstances to get a person. My recollection is 1/4 ma. through the
heart muscle can send it into fibrillation but my memory may be fading with
age. But he may be limiting the current to a very small value. Who knows?
Even if he does use an isolation transformer, that doesn't prevent one from
getting a lethal shock if the transformer can supply a few
milliamperes. It can still be deadly unless the voltage is reduced to a
safe level.
So, I guess you've seen the schematic, eh?
Bob Squires; care to share your circuit so we can comment?

Hi Ya'all;
I am surprised that no one has questioned the wisdom of Bob Squires CS
generator.
Anytime that anyone suggests that a connection be may to the 120v ac mains
without an isolation transformer is aking for a life threating situation or an
electrical fire.
To sell or give away such a devise is counter to the UL requirements.
If you want to use Bob's suggestion then get a 1 to 1 isolation
transformer from
an electrical supply shop. That way there will be sufficient impedance in the
circuit to keep from killing yourself..
Frank, what ever happened to your EZCS generator????
