Independent of how an herb or food might or might not react with a healing protocol, some people can't handle garlic. (I believe that I am one of those people). There was a post by someone (I forget who) a short while back that made a lot of sense. The writer said (I think it was a he) that based on his experiences, the garlic drew lots of toxins out of the system and that, in combination with the Beck blood purifier, was too much -- which is why he thinks Beck warned against using garlic while working with his instrument. Later, the writer wrote, when he was more cleaned out, he was able to use the Beck device AND eat garlic with no detox effects to make him ill.
