I wrote several months ago about how our 20 year old cat seemed be dying (stopped eating, bloody stools, vomiting, listlessness) and we were allowing ourselves to be emotionally prepared for her death. But I gave her some CS and lo and behold within several hours she perked up, and has been going strong ever since -her eyes are clear and her appetite is extremely healthy. I give both the dog and cat CS in their drinking water, approximately 1/2 cup or so a full water bowl that they share, and this seems to be a good precautionary measure. I have no idea about the PPM, I make my own, and just stop when the Tyndall effect shows up with a laser pointer... I have also used a combo of CS and tea tree oil lotion on them, to help soothe flea bites (when we went on vacation a neighbor who also has animals brought the dog to her house at times and they always seem to have problems with fleas when they go over there). We have had a glut of rain here (wish I could send it over to the folks in areas with forest fires!) this summer, and the tomato plants got some kind of fungus disease. I sprayed CS on them and poured CS on the roots, and am just waiting for some sun to help the many fruits ripen. <G>- guess now that it is September I better find lots of recipes for green tomatoes. I put CS in any cut flower vases and they last for a LONG time. This also worked for the Xmas tree last year, we always cut our own at a tree farm but even so in previous years had trouble with needles dropping very quickly since we also have a woodstove that dries things up in the house. With the CS the needles stayed on much longer with much less shedding than years past.
