Hello All--

This is as good a prompt as any to relate how I obviated a root canal.

My first indication of deep infection was a swollen, painful lymph gland
under my jaw. When a molar became hyper-sensistive to temperature
change, I went to a dentist. She X-rayed it and pronounced "irreversible
pulpitis", then sent me home with a list of root canal specialists and
prescriptions for antibiotics & pain killers. Instead of the above, I
bared the wires from a small DC power supply and probed the infected
tooth with the - wire end while holding the + eletrode in the other hand.
The entire problem dissappeared within 2 days, with full nerve function
retained!

I've subsequently equipped others with the same, adding a sponge to the
cathode--to soak with salt water and hold, so that the tightness of the
user's grip serves as a variable power control--and a silver wire as the
anode. Similar results were realized, including one case where pain that
had been building for days (due to infection, I infer) permanently abated
after 15 minutes.

I've also experimented with the following method for general dental
hygiene and prevention: I insulated the silver probe with heat shrink
exept the very end. Holding the + electrode sponge as before, I place
the silver probe in the middle of a mouthful of sea salt water, so it
contacts the water only. Rationale: the (germicidal) current conducts
through the saline to every mouth surface while 'electroplating' minerals
onto the teeth.
