Hi Ya'all, I had mentioned on an earlier post that a friend of mine, Curt, is the chief chemist for a national supplier of chemicals to the baking industry had said that ALL DW must by law be ozonated.
He recently purchased a "modulated CS gen." (constant current) and ran a 16 oz of DW that has a conductance of 0.22 uS., for 6 hours and it turned muddy. He then did a rolling boil of the DW for three minutes (if you use a microwave let it cool for about 5 min. before opening door) He covered the container with plastic wrap and put in the frig. until abut 70 deg. He repeated the run and obtained clear 22 ppm CS with a solid T.E. He is now working to reduce the T.E. The instructions said that he should have 20 ppm and I measured it for him with my spect. and it was 22 ppm. I am trying boiled water in my HVAC arc to check for reduction in NO3. Will advise when finished. "Ole Bob" -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
