The message I got WRT hayfever is that similarly to CS attaching to virus wall proteins, many allergens are protein-coated. The CS has an affinity to the protein coat and attaching to the allergen is one of the mechanisms that alleviates the aggravating symptoms. It may have something to do with the cancellation of the negative charge of the allergen.
CS does not actually boost the immune system like echinacea does - by raising white count or like that, - it acts independently to kill invaders and promote pain relief and healing through electrical means, without a positive or negative effect on the existing system. The Body Electric by Rober O. Becker goes into the details of silver-in-healing. ciao ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marsha Hallett" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, October 27, 2000 7:17 PM Subject: Re: CS>hayfever | > Hi group | > > Another question (it's a new day so its allowable) - I have read that CS | can | > help alleviate hayfever? I`ve had not a bit of asthma, and just a bit of itchy eyes since | I began CS 4 1/2 years ago! CS stops the itchy eyes immediately. | I hear that CS boosts the immune system in some way, helping it to not | overreact in the presence of allergens. Works for me!! | Love, | Marsha | | | | -- | The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. | | To join or quit silver-list or silver-digest send an e-mail message to: | [email protected] -or- [email protected] | with the word subscribe or unsubscribe in the SUBJECT line. | | To post, address your message to: [email protected] | Silver-list archive: http://escribe.com/health/thesilverlist/index.html | List maintainer: Mike Devour <[email protected]> |
