Hi Mary A few weeks back I seem to remember a discussion about some doctor discovering a link between candida overgrowth and autism. I think he was doing a study on autistic children and was shocked to find that they ALL were riddled with candida. While I am sure this is not the main cause of autism, maybe they are more prone to candida? The more I read about illness, the more I am convinced that it is never one thing alone that causes disease.
I looked at Hulda? Clark's website. While I was impressed with what she had to say, she seems to blame everything on parasites. I don't believe that to be true. .If you look at depression (which she claims is caused by parasites - depression is a holistic disease - in that there are usually problems in more than one area ie: emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical. With vaccination, why are some children effected and not others? I personally don't believe vaccination is an acceptable price to pay for eliminating disease (it doesn't even do that) in that it maims, kills and retards children, all in the name of health. They say the benefits outweigh the risks. What they are saying is that it's o.k. to kill one child to save another. This is never acceptable in my book. But we are getting off topic. So what am I saying - it's worth a look into if you feel so inclined. I appreciate all your info (I take it it's you that sends it) about vaccination issues. I used to run a group in the city in which I live, for parents who wish to make an informed choice in regards to vaccination. It's a touchy issue in New Zealand. The media feeds on it whenever there is an outbreak of Whooping cough or flu etc. Kind regards Tracy. P.S. Anyone feel free to disagree with me over the parasite issue.
