Hi Ole Bob I hate to burst your bubble - but skim/non-fat milk is just as bad as whole milk. And the skim milk here in New Zealand goes thru the same homogenisation process and whole milk. Dried milk contains oxidised or rancid cholesterol which is the kind that promotes heart disease. Dried milk is usually added to whole milk.
Skim milk - contains xanthaine oxidase in the milk fat. This reaches the heart and causes heart disease. It is also found in whole milk. Cheese and butter are safe though, as they don't go thru the same processes. Maybe someone could explain the difference between pasteurisation and homogenisation. I'm not that knowledgeable on the subject. Tracy. -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
