I don't know what Ann Rands definition of "enlightened selfishness" is.
That which benefits all, benefits me as well..is my definition.
I am one of the "all"...thus...contribution to the benefit of all, is
selfish.
I make CS generators. Others make CS generators. The more that becomes
known about CS, the greater the market will be.
My "competitors" efforts benefit me.
...and when everyone knows how to make their own generators, and does.
 I'll do something else.
There's lots of stuff to do that I don't do because I'm making generators.
