Dear Jeannine,

Thanks, that is sort of my feeling toward herbalife. But not all MLMs. I
used to feel that way toward all mlms, but network marketing as it is now
called is more legit and has a lot of good things going for it and is now
even being taught at Harvard Business School. I have looked for MLM
products I could get enthused about for years. AMWAY is too much like a
cult as is herbalife. I think they are geniuses at meme generation.
Strong parallels to religion. Best MLM company I have previously looked at
was NIKKEN and for a while I was a dealer, but their products were too odd
for Lynchburg, Va where I lived at the time. NIKKEN primarily sells
medical magnetic products, like magnetic beds and wraps and stuff. Lately
I have found an mlm of sorts that deals in electrically balanced
nutritional products. I am investigating them to make sure they are all
that they seem and I will likely go with them THey are certainly
straightforward with their marketing, none of this sneaky come on stuff
with tons of testimonials of people with rags to riches stories and showing
these good looking model quality people standing in front of mansions
leaning on expensive custom cars or lounging around pools or sitting on
decks with a great view of a beachfront. They play on the emotions, gripes
my butt. But this electrical nutrtional compnay says straitup they are
selling nutrtional products and focus on that, they only bring up the mlm
part of it as an answer to people who say they can't afford the products.
IF they work as claimed they are worth it whether one mlm's or not. I am
going to I think order their mineral product right away to stop some of my
toothloss hopefully.

I am also looking into a firm that is not mlm it is direct retailing, but it
deals in financial educational materials and training seminars in asset
protection and all these other financial goodies. LEt you all know more on
that once I set up as a retailer. Need to scratche together a few bucks to
invest in doing that. SOrt of like a franchise fee, but much smaller and
better.

Anyway, I have always heard vague disquieting rumors about herbalife, but
could not recall what they were. I heard some company like them many years
ago was shut down as they had some toixen in a diet product they sold that
was making people very sick, I can't recall if there were any deaths. I
always think of Shaklee or Herbalife when I recall that story but I am not
sure if it was one ot them or one that no longer exists. Too many years
ago when it happened. I was in my 20's at the time, early 20's as I still
lived in Houston I think.

ANyway, I will update the group on the electrical nutrtion stuff and the Tax
Relief and protection seminars as I learnd more.

Barb
