To all interest list members following this
thread:
Several years ago some members of our staff conducted
limited evaluations addressing possible benefits of MSM on elevated blood
pressure.
Our findings included the following:
1. MSM exhibited no detectable change in the blood pressure of
"long-term" atherosclerotic volunteers---possessing normal red cell
distribution. Actually, this was true for all volunteers presenting with
venous restrictions/vascular flexibility complications caused by accumulations.
2. MSM displayed some measureable ability (but no more than
10%, best case) to improve peripheral circulation.....predominantly in smaller
capillaries.
3. ONE blood condition presenting elevated blood pressure as an
ancillary condition.....was powerfully affected. That being rouleaux (clumping
of the red cells into stacks). MSM, through its singular mechanism, was most
effective in mitigating this condition......yielding immediate improvement in
oxygen utilization and general red cell vitality....together with concomitant
improvements in both venous and arterial pressures..
MSM did, in fact, improve the cellular efficiency of blood
cells. To wit: cell poration was greatly improved----frequentlly as much as
50%. These detoxifying effects were---sometimes---dramatic; especially among
elderly volunteers.
I hope this information is of value to some....in their
personal experimental researches.
Sincerely, Brooks Bradley.
