Dear Chuck, We treatred and healed people all the time in my day in hospitals. It was assumed that any rational sane person would want to be treated and healed, and if they refused they must not be sane or rational and therefore we could claim guradianship of them until sanity returned and still treat them without permission. States do it all the time. I have not compunction on it. IF they really want to be sick or disabled they can go give themselves antoher disease of unconsciously create an accident. But I will have at least tried.
