I'd say systemic protection is not 100%. I dose twice a day and I just caught my first cold in 3 years. I increased CS dosage and the cold never got very severe. Today after 4 days, symptoms [just a runny nose] are nearly nonexistant. CS is good stuff but it's apparently not 100% protection. ken
