Urgent electrical question: In a SPARK GAP, a HV pulse initiatates a plasma arc, which can then conduct current. The min. V required for *striking* the arc depends on the gas, pressure, and electrode distance. What determines the min. V for *maintaining* the arc? Does it vary inversely with amperage?
