Dan; To do HVAC one needs about 7,000 to 15,000 volts at about 30 ma. I don't think a flyback xmfr will handle that kind of power, you need a neon sign transformer.
As for a schematic, one just connects the two wires for a NST to two terminals of your HVAC brew cell. If you are not familiar with 12,000 systems be very careful as they can be lethal or burn the house down. now what type of HVAC do you want to make? oth electrodes submerged, one submerged and the other silghtly aboive the water so a cone forms, or do you want an arc in air or a submerged arc???
