 I don't know is they still do, but in times past copper powder was added to 
the
 concret used to pour the floors of hospitals.
 
 Copper is a germicide also.

Bob: It's interesting to observe that the sample which contains 56% silver is 
the only one that has a few percent tin. Note the unexpectedly low 
conductivity for this sample. I wonder if it's related to the tendency of tin 
to form a protective oxide coating which would tend to passivate the alloy 
surface. The next set of readings should give us more to work with. Roger
