Dear Eric,
While our evaluations involving CS and Epilepsy
proved to be non-productive....our evaluations of Alpha Lipoic Acid yielded
VERY
encouraging results---from among our volunteer population. Results did not
appear to be age related---in the absolute sense---but individuals below the age
of 15 responded most favorably. I would suggest you obtain a copy of Dr.
Russell
Blaylock's book, "Excitotoxins, The Taste That Kills", and pay special attention
to his observations relating to "seizures among children". Additionally, I
would
encourage an experimenter to obtain Alpha Lipoic from either German or Italian
sources. The cheaper Chinese product, available in most commercial outlets in
the U.S.......does not measure up (at least in our evaluations) for therapeutic
applications---in our experiments.
We used other amendments, in addition to Alpha
Lipoic; and our researches addressed seizures other than just epilepsy.
However, we did discover that many different type seizures exhibited similar
responses to a common protocol. If you wish, you may contact me off-list for
more details.
Sincerely, Brooks Bradley.
