This list reported a couple of successes with leaf infections. One was a fungus which a USDA or similar expert said was sure death to the tree. It was sprayed a few times with CS and completely recovered. Try searching the archive for tree & fungus .

I also found out the hard way that they should be treated like bulbs and allowed an extensive dormant period.
