This list reported a couple of successes with leaf infections.  One was a
fungus which a USDA or similar expert said was sure death to the tree.  It
was sprayed a few times with CS and completely recovered.  Try searching the
archive for “tree & fungus” .

I don't know anything about CS for plants - the answers will be
interesting - but I do know that plumeria are very suseptible to spider
mite.  I also found out the hard way that they should be treated like bulbs
and allowed an extensive dormant period.
