I don't know anything about CS for plants - the answers will be interesting - but I do know that plumeria are very suseptible to spider mite. I also found out the hard way that they should be treated like bulbs and allowed an extensive dormant period. Thanks to all for the advice, I sprayed the tree and watered it with CS water, but I have a blue thumb question for Beverle: the type of plumeria I have is the tree that grows in Hawaii that the leys are made from. yummie smelling flowers. I got it as a seedling and it's about 3 ft. tall now, which is why the "bulb" reference has me puzzled- it won't just not pop up out of the groud like a bulb- it's a tree. by "dormant period" do you mean that if it looks dead it probably isn't? (I'm DETERMINED not to kill this tree....this one WILL pass the test....)
