Was the olive leaf applied to the infected tooth, taken internally, or both? I
ask because I have had 2 root canals- OUCH. The only dentist I had that
prevented a root canal was holistically oriented and applied clove oil inside
the tooth before she put in a plastic type filling ( I was on the starving
artist budget and couldn't afford porcelain). Unfortunately, the filling broke
several years later, as she said it would, and I was in a different city with a
different dentist who scoffed at the notion of clove oil (which I could still
taste and smell while the filling was removed- years later) and I needed a root
canal a few months later. (I don't see that dentist anymore, needless to say.)
So, any specific instructions on using olive leaf extract for prevention would
be greatly appreciated. I swish with colloidal silver and h2o2, and
periodically apply clove oil and oregano oil to my gums, but anything and
everything helpful at this point is my motto.

Re: general Olive Leaf efficacy: I just learned that a friend used the
extract instead of antibiotics to eradicate an infected tooth root, a
potentially lethal affliction...averted necessity of root canal!
